My text on Thomas Struth’s remarkable portrait is now available on the website of Fotografisk Tidskrift. In the latest issue, I contribute a reflection on the portrait of Giles and Eleanor Robertson, photographed in their home in Edinburgh in 1987.


In my text, I place Struth’s portrait in dialogue with the traditional wedding photograph, in which couples are depicted at the beginning of their marriages. In the image of Giles and Eleanor, the perspective is different, and time is beginning to run short.

Supporting Structures is a group exhibition in which Studio Pilot explores collaboration as an artistic method. The four artists have invited someone—or something—to share their process, resulting in works that have grown out of relationships, unexpected encounters, and shared structures. Oskar Kardemark leads an open conversation with several of the exhibiting artists.


Tales of Minimal Significance marks a departure for artist Josef Kováč  from his previous work. It´s not a huge step, but still a distinct move in a new direction.

Moderating Gothenburg photobook festival

In November I had the honour to present and talk to artists during the Gothenburg photobook festival. Here I am together with artist Anna Strand, one of the speakers in the festival program.
