Stages (Efva and I) show choreographer Efva Lilja (b.1956) and the artist during two summer days in Copenhagen 2016. The year before, in 2015 Kardemark attended a lecture with Lilja. Her talk/performance had a significant impact on him and became the starting point for their collaboration.

The work plays with notions of what kind of relationships can be had between a younger man and an older woman. Beyond family or lovers, what could they be to each other?  Thoughts regarding discipline, submission, ambition, courage and play are set in motion in this mirror game.
